The FCS Business Directory was launched six years ago to help our school families raise support for costs related to a student’s eighth grade trip to Washington D.C. This annual project continues to grow under the leadership of Foothill Dad, David Bauer. Today, its scope has broadened to benefit students in lower grades. FCS families can accrue proceeds from ad sales and have them earmarked for future 8th grade trips to Washington D.C., as well as travel expense for Chess and Cheerleading Club national competition. The directory also provides a revenue stream through which the school’s Annual Fund campaign receives a percentage of the proceeds for needed classroom equipment and campus upgrades. Since its beginning, the FCS Business Directory has garnered over $120,000 in sales and has included support from over 500 different companies from throughout Southern California.
