What an awesome week for our Junior High students and their excellent writing! Recently, several students had their writing published in the Glendoran; now others are receiving top honors at the L.A. County Fair.
As part of our writing program in sixth grade, students write and illustrate a children’s book. Several students were selected to enter their books in the creative writing category at the fair. Ben Northup took top honors by winning three awards: First Place, Best in Class, and the America’s Kids in Class award. Samantha Gardner placed second and was honored for outstanding display of theme. In addition the following students also received awards.
