Shelley Dow is often found around the Baseline and Grand Avenue campuses picking up ink and toner cartridges for the Foothill Christian School Cartridges for Kids recycling program. She started recycling at work through and Easter Seals program and Cartridges for Kids. “We did it because it was so easy,” says Shelley who is married with three girls, Tanna, Taylor and Tori. “I have always been conscious about recycling, especially in the office.”

The Dow family is quite at home with a “green” lifestyle that engages them daily to recycle whatever they can, from water bottles, to cans to grocery store bags. “We have containers set up so everyone does it automatically. If we keep it simple and make it part of our everyday life, we believe our small part can make a difference.”

Foothill’s campus-wide “GREEN” campaign to collect cartridges, toners and other recyclable items begins on March 9th and culminates on Earth Day, April 22nd.
