Announcement on June 12, 2026
Hello FCS Families,

Foothill Christian School is an extension of the mission of Foothill Church. We have one mission: To glorify God by living as disciples of Jesus, who make disciples of Jesus.

So when Mr. G announced his retirement, we knew we had an important decision to make. Finding his replacement was more than just filling a position. It was finding someone who could carry out that mission through the school.

That’s why I’m excited to share that Lindsey Wilson has accepted our offer to become the next Head of School. She has already begun working but will assume the role officially on July 1st.

As I told her, “I’m not surprised it’s you but I’m also happy it’s you!” Mrs. Wilson didn’t get the job because she’s Mr. G’s daughter. She didn’t get the job because she worked at the school. She got the job because she was fully vetted by our NextEd Consultant Tom Konjoyan, our Succession Team, school and church staff and myself. In other words, Mrs. Wilson got the job because after all our interviews and applications and considerations, she was the best person for the job! She has the credentials and character to lead our school in the next season.

Mrs. Wilson is a disciple of Jesus who wants to make disciples of Jesus!

We will be celebrating her installation at our annual All Staff Chapel on Thursday, August 13th. We hope many of you will join us!

In the meantime, here’s what you can do:

  1. Help me congratulate Mrs. Wilson! She is a well known and beloved part of our church and school community and I hope many of you will reach out to congratulate her on this new role.
  2. Pray for Mrs. Wilson as she assumes this role and seeks to backfill her current role. She has a massive job in front of her but we know God is faithful and able to equip her for the task at hand. I also know God answers the prayer of his people, so let’s pray God’s blessing on her behalf.
  3. Encourage and support Mrs. Wilson. She’s following a legend and that’s never easy, even if the legend is your dad! So be patient with her. Encourage her every chance you get. Be on Team Wilson and be ready to stand in her corner.

I believe God has brought Mrs. Wilson to us “for such a time as this” and I’m anticipating great things for her and for us in the years ahead. We love you Lindsey and I’ll wear the shirt #1 on “Team Wilson” any day!
