CIMI Camp | Fall
People travel from all over the western United States for the opportunity to attend the Catalina Island Marine Institute (CIMI Camp). At CIMI, students are able to learn about the ocean in the best way possible... by getting in it! Students will be surrounded by marine life while snorkeling, be able to observe organisms up-close in experiential science labs, and build self-confidence by successfully paddling a kayak for the first time. The program is designed to provide students with a deeper understanding of marine science, themselves, and the God who created it all! 

Cost: No additional charge. Included in tuition.

Alpine Camp | Spring

Alpine Camp, located near beautiful Lake Arrowhead in the San Bernardino Mountains, is an innovative outdoor program where textbooks come to life through engaging science activities and hands-on exploration. Each student leaves with a deeper understanding of our human impact on the world, along with a greater respect for themselves, others, and the environment. This mountaintop experience also features favorites like the high ropes course and team-building challenges, all within a cohesive, developmentally appropriate program that grows with your child. While both 6th and 7th graders attend Alpine, they follow separate tracks with distinct programming. 6th grade focuses on science and discovery, and 7th grade shifts toward leadership development and advanced team-building.

Washington D.C., Philadephia, NYC, and Boston | Spring

Foothill partners with American Christian Tours (ACTS) Educational Programs to curate an action-packed trip that help our students' interests come alive as they leave the confines of the classroom walls and walk onto the stage of history.

Students will start off exploring our nation's capital city of Washington, D.C.  A trip through Pennsylvania will take in Gettysburg Battlefield, historic Lancaster County, and Philadelphia - "Birthplace of America."  New York City provides its highlights of the Statue of Liberty, the 9/11 Musem and Memorial, Broadway and Central Park. Finally they will visit Boston where they will walk the Freedom Trail and take in Plymouth and nearby Lexington and Concord.
