Art Description

• Session 1: June 2nd- June 25th
• Session 2: June 30th- July 23rd
• 1st - 3rd Grade: 10:15 - 11:30 AM
• 4th - 8th Grade: 8:00 - 9:15 AM

This 4-week session will consist of 11-12 studio classes. Students will have the opportunity to create in a range of mediums. The cost of classes includes the materials fee.

At the end of the session, your student will have a portfolio to share with family and friends. Student work will also be featured at a gallery show at the end of their camp session.

Composition Description

Music Composition Workshop 2025 is for students who not only love performing music, but seek to better understand how composers create great music, learn how to compose their own music using programs like MuseScore and GarageBand, and try out jazz improvisation.

*On Friday, June 6 there will be a showcase from 11:15-11:45am.

Space is limited to 5-6 students.

• Overview of the basic components of music composition and major time periods of music history
• Introduction to using digital notation programs like MuseScore and Sibelius and digital audio workspaces like GarageBand
• Jazz improvisation
• Additional time to work on and compose your own music *returning students are welcome to re-enroll and expand on skills and compositions from summer 2024!
• Music composition showcase for family, friends and fellow classmates to present their music compositions for each other and jam together on a D major blues.

Academy Description

This academic prep course will help bridge the gap between spring and fall enrollment. All classes will be offered on-campus. The focus for 1st - 5th grade is language arts and math, the focus for 6th - 8th grade is math.

NEW! Foothill's Digital Art Classes
Session 1: June 9-20 Digital Art and Character Design

This two-week digital art workshop introduces beginners to the essentials of digital illustration while helping returning students refine their skills. Using Procreate, students will explore techniques in illustration and character design, learning how to bring their ideas to life with digital tools. Whether students are new to digital art or looking to enhance their creativity, this class provides a fun and hands-on experience to grow their artistic abilities!

Session 2: July 7-18 Animation

This two-week animation workshop introduces beginners to the fundamentals of animation while helping returning students refine their skills. Using the app Rough Animator, students will explore key techniques in movement, timing, and storytelling to bring their ideas to life. By the end of the course, students will also create their own animated short. Whether students are just starting or looking to enhance their skills, this class offers a fun and creative space to explore the art of animation!

Orchestra Description

The Foothill Legacy Summer Orchestra Camps are open to violin, viola, cello, and string bass students entering 3rd through 9th grades (Fall 2025) of all levels. Camp gives students the opportunity to check in and maintain their music skills during the summer while having fun!

Space is limited to 30 students per camp.

Theater Description

Join us for Foothill's summer theater production, "Junie B Jones Essential Surviving Guide to School" the musical.

In two short weeks, students will prepare (acting, singing, dancing) for the final production.Every student will perform in the ensemble. Because this is an ensemble musical, all the kids will all be on stage for most of the show.

Tickets will be sold to the final performances.

Auditions will be held early for title characters. Auditions are only required for students that wish to have a solo or a large speaking role. Audition details will go out after registration in complete. All others will be placed during the first day of rehearsal. Sign-up form will go out after registration.

Space is limited to 35 Cast Members.

Basketball Description

This summer’s Basketball Clinic will be headed up by Mr. Darryl Wright who serves as the Assistant Coach to Foothill Christian’s girls varsity basketball team. Coach Wright will be joined by well qualified and experienced special guests, ready to share their expertise!

With a focus on developing solid fundamentals and game awareness, our basketball camp is a great resource for anyone who is looking to improve their fundamentals and learn what it takes to become a better basketball player.

All skill levels are welcome!
