Summer 2020 Programming

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Foothill summer programming is getting a makeover! Starting June 1st, Foothill Summer Day Camp will launch with a "Heroes and Adventures" themed experience complete with athletics, academics, spiritual development, on-campus competitions, camp style snacks and MORE.

On June 9th, we will also be introducing Bridge Academy, an academic prep course that will help bridge the gap between distance learning and fall enrollment. There will be two options available with Bridge Academy, on-campus courses for day campers entering 1st - 8th grade and online courses for students entering 3rd - 8th grade. The focus in 1st - 5th grade will be on language arts and math, the focus in 6th - 8th grade will be on math.

Elite Hoops Basketball Clinic

This summer Foothill will kick off its 1st Annual Elite Basketball Clinic. Working with a qualified team of basketball coaches, former players, and special guests, your student will learn the skills and techniques to help advance their game to the next level! This 4 week skills clinic is open to girls and boys entering grades 3 through 8. Help your young baller grow and learn the game in an environment you can trust!

Basketball Clinic will Include:

  • Training in intense ball handling, dribbling, and offensive moves.
  • A solid fundamentals base designed to improve overall performance and team play.
  • Improved court awareness and basketball IQ.
  • An understanding of values that lead to sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership.

Orchestra Mini-Camp

NEWLY ADDED MINI-CAMP!

DATES: July 20 - 24, 2020 (M-F)
TIME: 9:30 - 11:30 AM
COST: $85 + $15 Registration Fee

Orchestra Rehearsal, Workshops, Music Theory, Final Performance

The newly added FCS Legacy Summer Orchestra Mini Camp is open to violin, viola, cello, and string bass students entering 2nd through 9th grades of all levels. This one-week mini version of our June camp gives students another opportunity to maintain their music skills over the summer while having fun!

Orchestra Mini Camp will include:

  • Daily orchestra rehearsal or beginning music class
  • Music theory
  • Choice of music workshops
  • Master class/individualized instruction
  • Recording project presentation on July 24
  • 2020 FCS Legacy Summer Orchestra Camp T-shirt!


Private Music Lessons

DATES: June 1 - July 10, 2020
TIME: TBD with Instructor. You may choose to meet online or in-person for lessons.
COST: $180 ($30/lesson) for a six, 30-minute lesson minimum. +$15 Registration Fee

PIANO | ORCHESTRA

Private instrument lessons are offered for beginning to advanced students. No music experience is necessary. FCS has instruments for use during the summer program (available on a first-come basis). Minimum 6 lessons required, schedule to be determined with instructor.
