OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Foothill Christian’s summer programming is just around the corner! Mark your calendars for the arrival of camp on May 31, 2023. This year’s camp will have an "Adventures Around the World” theme complete with sports, games and competitions for all ages. Our Childcare team is working fast and furious planning what we believe will be our biggest and best effort yet!

Our teachers will be serving up our summer academic offering, Bridge Academy, designed to help students bridge the gap between Spring and Fall of the upcoming school year. Maintaining excellence in Math and English will be the emphasis.

And as always our outstanding Art, Theater, Orchestra and Instrumental Music departments will be offering instruction and enrichment throughout the summer. Also, two sessions of Basketball Camp will be returning with WNBA player, Kristen McCarthy!

Registration for Summer 2023 will open the second week of April!

*NOTE ABOUT FIELD TRIPS:

Field Trips are optional for 1st - 3rd grade and childcare will remain available on campus for those who choose to stay.

Field Trips for 4th - 8th grade are included with the camp pricing. Students who choose not to attend the field trip will need to find other childcare accommodations for that day.

Theater Camp Description
What's Included

Theater Camp Description

Foothill's award winning drama department is holding a summer musical theater workshop, open to students entering 5th - 9th grade. In this two week workshop students will prepare (acting, singing, dancing) for a final musical production of James and the Giant Peach Jr. Every student will perform and casting will be done on day 2. Some roles will be auditioned prior to the start of camp, dates TBD.

Rehearsals will be M - F from 9am - 12pm (some characters will have extra rehearsals as needed)

The final performances will be on Friday night and a Saturday matinee in the Baseline Auditorium. Tickets will be sold to the performances.

$400 incudes script and costume.

We are accepting the first 30 students to sign up.

Foothill's summer basketball clinics will be headed up by former Temple University and professional women's basketball player Kristen McCarthy. Kristen brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to the court and is a great basketball resource for anyone who is looking to improve their fundamentals and learn what it takes to become a better basketball player.

Foothill's Studio Art Classes, open to students entering 1st - 8th grade, will take place in two sessions. Each 4-week session will be comprised of 11-12 studio classes. Students will have the opportunity to create in a range of mediums. At the end of the session, your student will have a portfolio to share with family and friends. Student work will also be featured at a gallery show at the end of their camp session.

Orchestra Camp Description

The Foothill Legacy Summer Orchestra Camp is open to violin, viola, cello, and string bass students entering 3rd through 9th grades (fall 2023) of all levels. This year, we are offering two separate weeklong sessions that will give students the opportunity to check in and maintain their music skills during the summer while having fun!

Space is limited to 30 students per session.
