“The mission of the FCS athletic department is to produce positive Christian athletes who honor the Lord, by exemplifying faith, integrity and character on and off the field of play. It is our goal to equip each athlete with the knowledge and skills needed for current and future success.”
Each program that FCS offers will accomplish this mission by developing within each student-athlete a sense of confidence earned through their contribution towards their team's success. All FCS athletes will feel valued, supported, and encouraged through their participation in Falcon Athletics, and in so doing will build a life-long love of sport and the maintenance of a healthy life style beyond their years at FCS.
Since its early years, Foothill Christian School had proudly identified as the Eagles. However, after years of discussion amongst coaches and student-athletes, a change was set in motion. In 2020, FCS officially became the Foothill Falcons.
A major driver for the change was the desire to stand out. With seven of the ten schools in the league also sharing the Eagle mascot, Foothill saw an opportunity to distinguish itself with a bold new identity. The alliteration of "Foothill Falcons" was a natural fit, and the falcon—known as the fastest animal on the planet, capable of diving at speeds over 200 mph—symbolized the drive, agility, and excellence that define FCS athletics. Falcons are fierce competitors and top predators, a fitting image for a program known for producing perennial league champions.
The new athletic identity features the athletic F logo, mascot, and lettering—giving Foothill a unique and unified brand that reflects both the school’s spirit and competitive edge.
