Spirit Days
Spirit Days are fun dress-up days that take place throughout the school year, typically on Fridays. During Christmas week in early December, we celebrate with a theme every day, Monday through Friday. Spirit Days provide a fun way for students to flex their creativity and even end up in the yearbook!
Talent Show
Foothill’s Talent Showcase gives K–8th grade students the chance to perform on the main stage and share their unique gifts. Performances often include, but are not limited to, singing, dancing, instrumental music, acting, comedy, magic, martial arts, and baton twirling. The show takes place in front of a packed gym!
Annual Fund
The Annual Fund is our largest fundraising effort of the year, it is simply asking families to donate toward the “margin of excellence” that goes above and beyond what tuition can cover. Many of the best campus and program upgrades have been made possible through Annual Fund giving (tech lab updates, playground improvements, gym bleachers/flooring, theater sound/lighting, and athletic uniforms).
Book Fair
The Book Fair takes place during the first week of December. Our team of volunteers transform the Presentation Room into a magical, themed experience where students get excited to explore. Every class gets two opportunities to shop during the week, however students can visit anytime before and after school during the week. The proceeds raised from the Book Fair benefits our school library!
Christmas Night on the Plaza
Christmas Night on the Plaza is a fun, community event that takes over the Baseline campus. The night includes performances by the elementary Selah Choir and junior high theater dept., delicious food, a gingerbread house decorating contest, and Foothill’s favored Christmas Boutique with over 50 vendors which takes place in the gym.
Theater Production
Every spring, our junior high theater department, puts on a spectacular musical performance. From intricate costumes and sets, complicated choreography, and beautiful singing/acting... our students bring the story to life. Invite your friends and family to a show and you'll see why they've earned numerous awards every year!
Fun Run
The Fun Run is the only student-driven fundraiser Foothill offers. It is a 10-day program that begins with a pep rally and continues with daily competition and character lessons. Students earn pledges and flat donations to win prizes and support our school. The event ends with the highly anticipated Fun Run (glow run in Jr.K - 5th and a color run in Jr. High). The fundraising goal is new each year and helps us make campus and program improvements that everyone can enjoy.
Golf Tournament
The FCS Educational Foundation has hosted an annual golf tournament every year since 1995. It is the primary way we fund the tuition assistance program, that allows FCS families who are experiencing financial hardship keep their students enrolled. This fun event takes place a local, private club and includes an auction and raffle. It is a great way to introduce your friends & family to FCS, they'll love this event!
